Hi Ravers!
Welcome back to this week’s rave updates. This week has been a sad week for us.
If you are not yet aware, we tragically lost one of our community members in a fatal altercation that occurred at another underground rave last weekend 💔
Her name was Mandi, and her family is encouraging anyone who was at the Space Yacht x Underwar3 x Cyber Rodeo event last Saturday to please submit any photos and videos you might have for the event so they can find the people who took her life.
You can read more details and find where to submit information here. Her family has also started a Go Fund Me to cover funeral costs. We encourage you to leave a donation if you are able to here.
As most of us know, LA afters are not typically in the safest area of town. Please keep that in mind - Remember to check on your friends, be aware of your surroundings, and ask for help when you need it 🫂 -
At our own parties, we will be increasing the number of security guards patrolling the surrounding streets. Our security team will continue using metal detectors and have encouraged us to implement a new bag policy prohibiting backpacks and larger bags. We will provide more clarity on this before our next Skyline afters.
Lastly, both The LA Raver and Rave Haven will be implementing a new Ground Control team consisting of in-house volunteers who will work along side our on-site medical staff to make sure that everyone inside of our parties is safe at all times.
As we all continue to navigate this situation, our promise to you is to always keep safety at the absolute forefront of everything that we do. Please be safe this weekend ❤️
